Didn’t know a Cavalier could last for that long. Looks well kept, but never $2,300 well kept. I’d say $1,000 would be a good price.

I paid a little over that for mine. With 60,000 miles 4 years ago. I am the defender of the Cavalier on here, but that is sky high. More like $500.

I couldn’t imagine paying more than scrap value for any J-body, let alone one with that many miles. They were awful cars when brand new...

My wife’s ‘86 was absolutely bullet proof. She sold it for $400. I wouldn’t pay that much for this one personally.

They are good cars for poor people. Still a lot on the road here, and the last one rolled off the line some 10 years ago.
